Sean Strickland Claims He Has Been Excluded From UFC White House Event

Sean Strickland has stirred fresh controversy after claiming he was not invited to attend the upcoming UFC Freedom 250 event scheduled to take place on the White House grounds on June 14.

The special event is expected to attract around 5,000 spectators, with attendance limited to invited guests from the UFC, members of the Trump administration, and active military personnel. However, according to Strickland, he will not be among those present despite recently reclaiming UFC gold.

The middleweight titleholder made the allegation during an exchange with fans on Instagram. When asked why he would not be attending the historic show, Strickland suggested his outspoken views on political matters played a role in the decision. He claimed his criticism of both Israel and issues surrounding Jeffrey Epstein contributed to his exclusion.

The 185 pound champion returned to the top of the division last month at UFC 328, where he edged out Khamzat Chimaev by split decision to regain the championship. While Strickland was once known as a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump, his stance has shifted in recent months, with the fighter increasingly criticizing several government policies through social media.

In a series of posts and videos, Strickland continued to voice his frustration. Using heavy sarcasm, he mocked the idea that he needed to prove his loyalty in order to earn a place at the White House event. He referenced political topics including United States involvement in Middle Eastern affairs, relations with Israel, and discussions surrounding the Epstein files.

The fighter also questioned military spending and foreign policy decisions, arguing that ordinary Americans are being affected financially. Throughout his comments, Strickland repeatedly suggested that his public criticism of political leaders and international issues may have influenced the decision to leave him off the guest list.

At this stage, neither the UFC nor White House officials have publicly responded to Strickland’s claims. No official confirmation has been provided regarding whether the middleweight champion was ever considered for an invitation or whether any restrictions were placed on his attendance.

Regardless of the circumstances, Strickland’s remarks have once again generated significant attention online. Known as one of the most outspoken personalities in mixed martial arts, the champion rarely avoids controversial subjects. With UFC Freedom 250 approaching, his latest comments have added another layer of intrigue to an event that is already expected to make combat sports history.
