ONE Championship is set to light up the famous Lumpinee Boxing Stadium once again as ONE Friday Fights 154 arrives this Friday, May 15. The event promises a thrilling night packed with elite Muay Thai and kickboxing action, featuring nine intense bouts and several athletes competing for a valuable US$100,000 contract along with a place on the global ONE Championship roster.
The spotlight in the main event falls on two hungry young talents from the bantamweight division who are determined to prove they belong among the sport’s elite.
Twenty three year old Samingdam NF Looksuan enters the contest carrying impressive momentum. Raised in a family deeply connected to Muay Thai, with both parents having fought professionally, Samingdam has developed into one of the division’s most exciting competitors. He currently owns a strong 47 and 9 professional record and heads into Bangkok riding a five fight winning streak. Backed by confidence and support from his NF Looksuan camp, the rising star believes this could be the performance that changes his career forever.
Standing in his path is another dangerous contender, Yodphupa Petkiatpet. The 22 year old Thai fighter has already earned recognition as a Road to ONE: Thailand Champion and holds an outstanding 71 and 14 career record. Known for his explosive punching power and ability to finish opponents suddenly, Yodphupa remains one of the division’s most feared competitors. After securing a unanimous decision victory earlier this February, he now aims to continue climbing toward a contract opportunity with another statement performance.
The co main event brings veteran experience and championship pedigree into the spotlight.
Rungnarai Kiatmoo9 enters the card as an established name in Muay Thai. The 30 year old has already captured world titles at both Lumpinee Stadium and Rajadamnern Stadium during his successful career. Having secured championships at 115 pounds and 108 pounds respectively, Rungnarai now chases the 63rd victory of his professional journey while attempting to move himself back into major title conversations.
However, Den Sitnayoktaweeptaphong presents a serious challenge. The experienced 29 year old fighter from Buriram owns an incredible 196 and 49 professional record while also managing his own gym. Coming from a family built around combat sports, Den continues to show consistency every time he steps into the ring. Following a solid decision victory at ONE Friday Fights 139 earlier this year, he remains firmly in contention for a future ONE Championship contract.
With young prospects chasing dreams and seasoned veterans fighting to reclaim glory, ONE Friday Fights 154 is shaping up to be another unforgettable night in Bangkok.
